Detect or not to detect very early stage hepatocellular carcinoma? The western perspective
Biopsy proven unresectable intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma
Single lesion ≤3 cm in diameter
No macrovascular invasion
No microvascular invasion
No poorly differentiated histology
No evidence of extrahepatic disease
No attempted prior resection with violation of tumor plane
Reasonable candidate for liver transplant
